Harvesting tomatoes with more speed and less downtime
The harvesting robot from inaho Europe is taking another step forward. With renewed hardware, AI software, industrial cameras and a more compact gripper system, inaho is working towards higher harvesting speed and increased capacity in snack tomatoes.
Inaho is focusing on speed, but the renewed chassis, with space for multiple harvesting crates, also helps reduce downtime and keeps the robot harvesting for longer periods.
For growers, this directly relates to one of the biggest challenges in the sector: reliable labour availability. Robotics can help automate repetitive work, enable employees to focus on more targeted tasks and create more stable harvesting processes.
In June, live demonstrations will take place at Tomatoworld, where visitors can see the robot working in practice.
