Tour costs:
At Tomatoworld, we offer an inspiring guided tour that takes you through the fascinating world of modern greenhouse farming and the future of food production. Our basic package, a 1.5-hour tour, costs €200.00 plus a fee of €12.50 per person. The price excludes 9% VAT and includes coffee and tea.
During the tour you will visit:
- The 'Global Challenges, Dutch Solutions' exhibition, where you can learn more about how the Netherlands is tackling global food challenges.
- Our data-driven demonstration greenhouse, where we grow different tomato varieties using innovative technologies.
- A tomato tasting, where you will have the chance to taste different tomato varieties and discover their unique flavours.
Would you like to visit in the weekend or after 8.00 PM? This is possible by arrangement. A rate of 150% applies for visits at weekends and after 8pm.

Tours
We offer two kind of tours: a 'Global Challenges Dutch Solutions' tour and a 'Taste & Feel' tour in collaboration with World Horti Center.
The Taste & Feel tour is a combined visit to Tomatoworld and World Horti Center. As the name suggests, this tour is all about tasting and experiencing. During a guided tour of World Horti Center, you will be taken—just like during the HortiXperience—past the various theme squares, the identity area, and the hardware stands. You will also see Vertify’s research greenhouses, have the opportunity to take a look at MBO Westland where education and industry come together, and learn more about the more than 100 companies that participate in World Horti Center. During the tour you can get inspired and informed about the international greenhouse horticulture sector and learn more about the unique collaboration between entrepreneurs, research, education, and government.
