We (Tomatoworld) believe that protecting the privacy of our customers and website visitors is essential. We therefore consider it important to ensure that our service is personal, committed and open. We are therefore constantly looking for ways to improve our services and tailor them as much as possible to your personal needs. This includes careful handling of personal data.

We process and secure personal data with care. In doing so, we comply with the applicable laws and regulations on personal data protection.

Recording and processing of personal data

We collect the following personal data that you disclose to us directly or indirectly, such as in the context of purchasing products or services, creating and using an account or visiting our websites.

Name and contact details: we use your name, job details and contact details, such as address, telephone number and e-mail address, to communicate with you about the performance of the agreed service and the delivery of products.

Payment data: we use your payment data, such as bank account number and credit card details, to process payments (to the extent applicable under the agreement concluded with you).

Visitor data: We keep visitor data in a database . This concerns origin and target group of our visitors. The purpose of this is to be able to optimise our services and customer experience.

To collect statistics, we use the anonymised version of Google Analytics. These statistics do not contain any personal or demographic data.

Tomatoworld posts a photo and visit report of visits on our social media provided permission has been given on the form provided. Approved photos are stored in our photo database.

Cookie policy

We use cookies when offering services. A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your computer's hard drive when you visit the website. A cookie contains data so that you can be recognised as a visitor each time you visit the website. It is then possible to personalise the website for you and/or to facilitate logging in.

In addition, you have the right to withdraw your possible consent to data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by Tomatoworld Foundation and you have the right to data portability. This means you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold on you in a computer file to you or another organisation named by you.

To ensure that the request for inspection is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN).
