Tomatoworld also organises a special tour in cooperation with World Horti Center. World Horti Center is the knowledge and innovation centre of the international greenhouse horticulture sector. A combination visit makes your visit to Westland a complete horticultural experience.
The tours are for groups of up to 20 people and last approximately 3 hours.

Dutch horticulture is renowned for its high-tech and sustainable production method. The sector produces efficiently fresh and safe products. The tour TASTE & FEEL is all about tasting and experiencing.
The world of greenhouse horticulture has so much to offer. Your experience starts at World Horti Center. You are taken by a HortiXpert through all facets of ultramodern developments in the sector. The tour at the knowledge and innovation centre is a true HortiXperience; During the 360-degree experience in the I-Grow Pavilion you will learn all about indoor cultivation, you will be taken along the many innovations that are demonstrated at the stands of leading greenhouse horticulture companies, and you can also take a look at the All Climate Greenhouse where education and industry work together on the horticulture of tomorrow.
After this visit, you will make a 5-minute transfer to Tomatoworld.
Tomatoworld is a real experience where you'll visit the the high tech field lab of Data Driven Growing and Robotics. A specialist will tell you how innovatively the Dutch growers grow their products. You will see bumblebees doing their work and you will feel the pleasant climate in which the tomato plants grow. When all your questions about cultivation have been answered, you will visit the "candy store" of different tomato varieties. You'll learn about the characteristics and use of the different varieties and you may taste which tomato you prefer.
